Nigeria was a name derived form the colonial masters “niggar area” yet as known as this is not one person that came into position of power or authority saw it prudent to change the derogatory “name” yet they were quick to shout “Racism” on economic issues. A younger generation need to know these truths and need to start discussing it with themselves daily so as to better mentally position themselves when their turn comes to occupy positions of power and authority/leadership.

Sheer human stupidity has reared its ugly head endlessly when it comes to African affairs. For a while many in French colonized parts of Africa strutted around “PROUD” to call themselves French Africans even among those who had never set their foot in the colonial masters country. Thus, we have to ask where did this warped Mindset come from? Hopefully, those astute and conscious among the younger generation of Africans from former (well…They still are as of writing) french colonies can better put pen to paper and help everyone better understand the psychology behind the “HOW TO” of this sort of mindset!

If as a “Mixed Race” person of European heritage you have done some Historical reading and observations you would have known that if you had been born merely 100 years ago there were virtually ONLY two options 1) If you happen to be born of a MALE person that is labelled as “white” you would be “allowed” to live but thrown in the “SLAVE” house with the rest to etch a livelihood condemn to hell, while occasionally having a few “tokens” tossed your way. Then 2) if you had the misfortune of being born of a WOMAN labelled as “WHITE” then the medic at hand (be that a doctor or an assistant) would wrap around your head a plastic bag (or similar contraption) and suffocate/murder you at birth. So my question to many of you who have a sway of clinging to your “White” side is….”WHY” (when you know the truth) would you then gravitate to pleasing your “White” side and “HATING” your “black-side” would it not be better to at least be “neutral (if you can) or at best “REALISTIC/HONEST”?

As a mixed race person you would be a fool to mis-construe my question for spitefulness, as my own person mental fortitude development since age “9” was inspired by the likes of Angela Davis and Huey Newton (yes! I know about his troubled personal life but that is irrelevant) as these are some of the people I respect immensely trailing competitively behind brother Malcolm,Walter Rodney, Sista Souljah, Assata Shakur, and Winnie Mandela etc.

My pointing this truth out does not mean that I am angry either, just surprised to see over my life time a high number of mixed race individuals intentionally opt to favor their “oppressor” side and on occasions even be intentionally nasty/hateful to their “oppressed” side when they should have had compassion for and aided their oppressed side.

So instead of fuming at my question lets look in the mirror and try to objectively and honestly find ROOT CAUSE answers to this strange human reaction to human negative constructs. After all, “RACE” itself is a European CONSTRUCT.

A sea of endless lies have been told, polished/embellished, maintained and steered. Now only we the people by honestly facing these lies and intentional mental distortions can we TRULY start addressing issues and correcting them for the good of humanity. You do not correct problems by “denying” them or neatly sweeping them under the carpet.

I am YOU and YOU are ME neither myself or anyone here on DACO hates you we just want those of you harboring this unfortunate state of being (as like I said I know a number of mixed race people who DO NOT suffer from this so there is no generalization done here) to be objective to reality and avoid invoking deep seated hate to your “oppressed” side as we are ALL in this thing together!

For centuries an intentional onslaught was enacted on African originated people by Europeans descendants over time. Although the efforts are still in effect (you saw it in Libya, China and with the George Floyd and all the other blatant disregard for life of our kind incidents in recent times) the real puzzle is HOW have Africans managed to survive this relentless de-valuing and de-humanizing onslaught over the centuries.

That time has come for us to look inwards and start figuring out ways (rather than going into defensive denial) of HOW we can put VALUE and dignity back into the life of OURSELVES…no one is going to do it for us as ONLY we can do this!

How was it possible that those so-called African leaders on independence could NOT see the reality that an infrastructure of DEPENDENCY had long been established and as such what was being offered to them was NOT independence but rather merely concessions in respect of an ILLUSION of independence! True INDEPENDENCE could only be achieve IF and ONLY IF they had come together as ONE AFRICA, but instead the overwhelming decisions makers (leaders) at the time were blood thirsty for “village King” status and driven by greed of seizing a window of opportunity to become village kings at the cost of UNIFICATION and TRUE DEVELOPMENT? WHY was it impossible for those leaders to step back and not give in to their personal greed for dominance and to step into the colonial masters shoes at independence. At so-called “independence” there was a window of opportunity for Africa to genuinely become self-sufficient and develop but because ALL they (so called leaders) truly did was STEP INTO THE COLONIAL MASTERS SHOES (they left the same “subjugation/dominance” infrastructure in place to suit their own personal agenda’s) for their own SELFISH Greed and FROLIC desires. Yes the “Casablanca” group saw this window of opportunity BUT like just mentioned the majority were only interested in stepping into the Colonial Masters shoes for their own personal greed and frolic. A younger generation of African people globally need more clarity on the REALITY of that so-called “INDEPENDENCE” period and the actions/decisions of those that inherited the colonial state as there is a LOT to learn form a genuine understanding of the mindset that governed many of the so-called leaders actions. Hopefully some of the more astute on these matters in the community will be able to provide a detailed wealth of answers on this subject matter. The purpose here (and else where) is to truly deconstruct the ROOT causes of our actions and inaction’s so as to present to a younger generation an honest appraisal of our reality so that they can both LEARN form our blunders and DO BETTER than those before them.

Due to our centuries long exposure to the dehumanization, subjugation and Controlling efforts of virtually all other races Africa people have been subject to a horde of brainwashing techniques such as education, religion, brutality, fear, terror and direct coercion through debasing political governance and economic strangulation yet somehow we have survived. To this end peeling back the accumulative layers requires a re-evaluation and honest appraisal of our current standing as a people and one of the major stumbling blocks to that has always been our own very inherited (in various ways over the centuries) organized and un-organized forms of education. That time has come for us to deconstruct ALL the constructs that have been systematically imposed on us over the centuries in various ways. Put your brain to work and let us find answers to this particular question as best as we can (remember no regurgitation of text book read stuff…be original in thought).

You can build all the global “Wakanda” cities you want but until ALL the remotest parts of Africa have clean running pipe borne water, proper objective educational institutions, reliable forms of electricity, well thought-out/implemented structured transportation infrastructures, high-speed intranet connected communication systems, decent accommodation, decent walkways, proper caring health systems for ALL, and are governed humanely as well as peacefully and humanely without fear or terror, coercion, censorship we DO NOT consider Africa DEVELOPED.

Our concept/standard of DEVELOPMENT is putting the necessary EFFORT, TIME, OUT-OF-THE-BOX-THINKING and RESOURCES to ensure ALL parts of Africa is equally served with a decent right to life and living. Only then will we rest out hats down and genuinely say “AFRICA HAS DEVELOPED. It is not enough to build “Wakanda” cities of frolic for tourists attractions while the people continue to be deprived of basic decency. The same effort, thought, excitement and resources put into constructing tourist attractions for FROLIC is the same amount of thought, time, excitement and effort needed to genuinely put Africa on the DEVELOPMENT MAP. Simply think beyond your own nose and self-centeredness on this issue and come up with answers to the above question without recourse to regurgitated text-book content as when AFRICA rises YOU rise also.

One of the biggest stomach-aches you can ever get is to witness a fan-fare of so called educated Africans debating heatedly over the “isms” as if any of these “isms” originated form them? Africans frantically “adopt” any and everything thrown at them that one has to wonder WHY? WHY can they not see that their desperation to adopt has contributed to their ability to “originate”! Hopefully, the more astute amongst you in the community can provide insights to this mental and emotional deficiency of many of those Africans who find themselves in positions that could produce positive change yet have miserably failed to produce innovative and positive lasting change for their own societies. Time for Africans globally to THINK-OUTSIDE-THE-BOX.

A much needed understanding of the “How” human constructs are constructed and the “how” they get applied to society in addition to the “who” of the present day constructs that have for so long dominated the global perception of “African originated” people globally and contributed to the stifling of any meaningful African development locally on the continent level or globally as in the Diaspora! If you can help simplify the understanding of such concepts and their real-world applications for the community kindly do so as like always “knowledge” is power and detailed understanding provides the depth of mental fortitude needed to ensure one generation benefits in wisdom and skills from the one before it

Everyone likes to show off with mobile phones but the real power and progress is in having the KNOW-HOW and CAPABILITIES as well as SKILLS to MAKE phones. So instead of strutting around “feeling” good about yourself holding a mobile phone why not put your brain to productive use and START thinking about HOW TO MAKE a phone from start (conception) to finish (Production). These are thoughts that require detail so if you think you have the brain to figure this out write down your step-by step detailed approach so that we can all BUILD upon whatever we all describe as the way in order to one day be PROUD and dignified and say we truly MAKE (from concept to finished product) these shiny gadgets we all like to strut around showing off with that are always made by OTHERS!
